Brigitte Quennehen‑Le Baleur is a French artist, born in Normandy in 1950, and a graduate of the École des Beaux‑Arts in Rouen, where she qualified in 1973.

She began her career teaching drawing and art history within the French national education system, before, in 1975, embarking on her own creative path, dedicating herself entirely to drawing, graphic design, and interior decoration.

Since 1998, Brigitte has also made her home and artistic mark in Britain.

From 2014, conceding gracefully to the march of time, Brigitte began to swap her trusty pencil and ink for a mouse—and her reading glasses for the flattering ×100 zoom of her computer screen.

Today, as a digital artist, Brigitte fully harnesses her creative talents without relying on any AI.

You are warmly invited to step into Brigitte Quennehen’s imaginative world, now shared with all through her beautiful giclée prints.

“Brigitte Quennehen’s particular talent lies in her ability to invoke unique designs which demonstrate themselves in original colour and form, and her imaginative employment of many varied materials and processes. For the last eight years, Brigitte has branched into Computer Photographic Design and takes great pleasure in the manipulation of her own drawings and photographic patterns, to produce further demonstration of her artistic capabilities in graphic design.”
